(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) As people around the globe celebrated World Water Day recently, the KR Group championed the cause across Oman. The conglomerate created an entire Facebook page titled KR Infra EcoLife to raise awareness and educate people on energy and water conservation.
''KR Infra EcoLife was born out of our dedication to spread the importance of conserving water and natural resources. The issue of water scarcity is a concern all over the world and particularly in desert countries such as Oman, which is why we cannot lay enough emphasis on the need to conserve it and be prudent in its usage,'' said N S Vijay Kumar, CEO Infrastructure Group of Khimji Ramdas, the department behind the initiative.
Through its energy efficient and sustainable products, the initiative envisages a possible partnership with government agencies to fully support all endeavours to reduce expenditure on energy and water, thereby reducing the country's footprint on the environment. The Facebook page also carries affiliate links to globally renowned brand Roca's We Are Water Foundation' to spread further awareness of similar initiatives that are carried on globally. Significantly, the KR Group showcases an extensive range of Roca's energy conserving bath appliances, reinforcing the company's commitment to educating people on the importance of conserving water.
