Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan to strengthen trade relations


(MENAFN) Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan have announced their plan to strengthen bilateral trade relations between them, especially in the border provinces, according to Iran Daily



Fars News Agency reported that the countries plan to launch two new free trade zones in the southeastern province



Ali-Osat Hashemi, governor general of Iran"s Sistan-Baluchestan province, said: "Iran is determined to develop cooperation with neighboring countries, including Pakistan and Afghanistan, to enhance investment and trade in border areas.



Hashemi said the commission will continue efforts to improve the economic situation of the people living in the border areas
