14 lawmakers of PTI submit resignations


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) At least 14 members of pakistan tehreek-e-insaaf (pti) in the khyber pakhtunkhwa assembly have submitted their resignations to deputy speaker imtiaz shahid qureshi ahead of their meeting with party chief imran khan

According to the pti’s mpa javed nasim the 14 ‘disgruntled’ members submitted their resignations on friday.


He said imtiaz was leading the recently formed group of like-minded individuals adding that he had been given the authority to submit resignations of other members of the group.


He said the upcoming meeting with imran would be crucial one. the pti lawmaker said the ‘forward bloc’ had no reservations against the party but will not tolerate any discrimination.


Javed said that lawmakers zahid durrani arbab jehandad gul qurban ali zia bangash mehmood jan dr amjad idrees khan and azizullah have submitted their resignation.


Earlier it was reported that several members of the pakistan tehreek-e-insaaf have formed forward bloc in khyber pakhtunkhwa assembly over the interference of senior leaders in provincial matters. the forward bloc was likely to demand due share in the government during the meeting with imran.
