Indian IT companies to participate in Oman fair

India’s electronics and computer software export promotion council (esc) will be participating in the international it telecom and technology exhibition ‘comex 2014’ scheduled to be held from april 7 to 11 at oman international exhibition centre muscat.


Fifteen it companies are participating under esc’s banner this time in comex 2014 informed kamal vachani regional director of esc for the middle east.


“esc has been facilitating indian participation on a regular basis at gitex dubai and comex in oman to take advantage of the booming it market in the gulf and leveraging that association for getting businesses for indian it companies from multitude of large global corporations which are executing projects in the region. the participating indian companies have reported to have bagged significant businesses” vachani added.


The middle east region is an important ict market in india’s export basket. the entire middle east as a whole offers immense potential to be tapped which can be witnessed by the increase in number of exhibitors in important ict exhibitions including gitex in dubai oman expo etc. esc has been playing a very important role in organising indian participation in several expos in the entire middle east.
