They dropped in at the khaleej times office to talk about the new film that is based on pulp fiction writer chetan bhagat’s eponymous novel.
The book is said to be based on bhagat’s own life detailing the clash between two cultures as a tamil girl and a punjabi boy fall in love with each other and their families are forced to interact. dubai is one of the biggest overseas markets for bollywood films and sees a regular stream of high-profile bollywood stars arriving to promote their films or advertise high-end products. both bhatt and kapoor have been frequent flyers here for promotional activities and say they are familiar with the city.
Following a press conference the actors were expected to visit the global village and interact with fans a programme bhatt said she was looking forward to especially upon hearing about the shopping opportunities there. the film 2 states releases in the uae on april 17.
