Oman eyes stake in Petronet's India unit


(MENAFN) Oman is eyeing a 10-15 percent stake in the planned Petronet LNG's plant in India, Times of Oman reported



The Omani minister of oil and gas said: "We have not decided on (the) stake. It will be a small (stake) - maybe 10-15 percent.



Petronet aims to add 5 million tons a year to its LNG production with the proposed LNG terminal due to launch by 2016



The minister added that Oman also aims to secure a supply of 1 billion cubic feet of gas per day from Iran from 2017-18
