Kuwait- Bid to change school timings


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Undersecretary at the Ministry of Education Mariam Al-Wateed has said she submitted a proposal to change the government schools' timing from 7:30 am to 7:00 am in an attempt to beat the traffic in the morning, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. In a circular to all educational zones and the private education department, Al- Wateed requested the education officials to conduct an opinion poll on the proposal with the teachers, school administrators, parents and zones' employees



She stressed the importance of the educational zones gathering the responses to conduct a general statistics and analyze results in every category. Al-Wateed also said the need to send the opinion poll to the office of the undersecretary in the course of the week, starting from the date of issuance, noting the poll model is relevant as it explains why the respondents approved or disapproved of the proposal
