(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Personal Status Section at the Court of Appeals presided over by Judge Kamal Al-Mir transferred the custody of a child from his mother to his paternal grandmother due to an allegedly indecent picture that the mother posted on Instagram. Counsel to the grandmother Lawyer Mohammad Eid Al-Ajmi explained that he filed the lawsuit on behalf of his client against her son's former wife, seeking custody of her grandson. He said the child's mother changed a lot after the divorce to the extent that she used to leave the child in the care of the housemaid and spend nights outside the house
The grandmother used to advice the mother about the dangers of not providing the child with proper training but the mother did not heed to those advices or change her ways. Lawyer Al-Ajmi accused the woman of posting indecent pictures of herself and her son on Instagram. He revealed that the grandmother had previously won the case in the Court of First Instance
