S. Korea consumer prices up 1.3 percent


(MENAFN) Consumer prices in South Korea increased in March at a pace faster than the month before it, Xinhua reported



A government report said, however, that the headline inflation remained around 1 percent for 17 consecutive months



Data by Statistics Korea show that consumer prices last month increased 1.3 percent when compared to the corresponding month a year before



Consumer price inflation in South Korea rebounded for the first time in four months after dropping from 1.2 percent last November to 1 percent in February this year
