(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will close the eastbound carriageway of Al Ameer Road in Al Khor to facilitate extension works of Al Khor sewage network. The closure will be effective from April 3 and will last 10 months. The two-lane westbound carriageway will become a two-way road with one lane in each direction.
Ashghal appealed to all motorists in the area to cooperate by driving safely and carefully and respect speed limit at diversions
The extension of the sewage network is part of Ashghal's Roads and Infrastructure in Local Areas programme, which is a nationwide programme that includes the development of roads, drainage and new infrastructure in all areas of Qatar
