The month long event will begin on April 2 and weekly live cookery matches will follow until the ultimate winner emerges. Last year's competition drew over 70 carefully chosen participants from the hotel industry, educated practitioners, foodies, cooking enthusiasts and restaurant chefs. The live feed will be open to public in the ballroom of Oman Tourism College.
It will also be featured in the local channel – Majan TV. Chef Oman is a celebration of Oman's authentic taste, an annual event organized by Oman Tourism College Labour Union. The event also aims to recognize and intensify the promising and distinct talent of Omani Chefs in preparation for global opportunities.
A parade of sumptuous, cultural, sophisticated and healthy dishes will be presented throughout the competition featuring Sadia products as the ''star ingredient''. Sadia has combined decades of experience, state-of-the-art technology, carefully selected ingredients and raw materials to develop delightful food products.
