Shaikh mohammed said he was happy with the victory of african story but was more happy with having elite world class horses competing at the dubai world cup.


He said: “i am proud and happy to see this multitude of visitors who came here to witness dubai’s annual horse racing festival which attracts the best horse owners breeders and trainers from all over the world.”


The victory also helped trainer saeed bin suroor claim the world’s richest race for a sixth time

Abu dhabi — the president his highness shaikh khalifa bin zayed al nahyan has congratulated his highness shaikh mohammed bin rashid al maktoum vice-president and prime minister of the uae and ruler of dubai on godolphin’s african story winning the 2014 dubai world cup title.


Their highnesses; members of the supreme council and rulers of emirates; dr shaikh sultan bin mohammed al qasimi of sharjah; shaikh saud bin saqr al qasimi of ras al khaimah; shaikh hamad bin mohammed al sharqi of fujairah; shaikh saud bin rashid al mualla of umm al quwain; shaikh humaid bin rashid al nuaimi of ajman also congratulated shaikh mohammed.
