Japan's industrial production slows down in Feb


(MENAFN) The industrial production in Japan fell for the first time in 3 months in February, Xinhua reported



The Japanese government said that industrial production dropped by a seasonally adjusted 2.3 percent last month



The country's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said the index measuring the output of factories and mines came at 101.5 against the 2010 base of 100



The index for industrial shipments fell 1 percent to 103.9, while the inventories index dropped 0.8, the ministry added
