Spanish public deficit hits 6.6 percent


(MENAFN) The Spanish public deficit, excluding account public financial aid injected into Spanish banks, hit 6.62 percent last year, Xinhua reported



The government said that the data is positive because Spain "almost" meets the target though the figure was above the required 6.5 percent by Brussels



The figures show that the State deficit, which includes central administration and Social Security deficits, stood at 5.49 percent



The deficit of the Spanish Autonomous Communities hit 1.54 percent versus a required figure of 1.3 percent
