Poland needs to cut costs in mining industry


(MENAFN) The Polish Economy Minister said that the country's mining industry must cut cost and modernize to increase its competitiveness, Xinhua reported



The minister said that the industry has to adjust to new market conditions, especially the drastic price slump on eastern coal markets



He added that the major task is to streamline the business and cut running cost to make the industry profitable



The Economy Minister said: "The mining area will grow only if it brings profits.
