Jordan's economy expected to recover

(MENAFN) The 'Jordan Economic Insight 2014' published by the QNB Group show that the kingdom's economy is regaining its momentum, The Peninsula Qatar reported

The report said that the improvement is due to a recovery in construction activity, tourism, and lower energy costs

The country's real GDP is expected to expand by 3.6 percent this year and average at 4.4 percent in 2015 and 2016

Higher investor confidence in Jordan backed by support from the IMF and GCC grants will lead to growth in the construction sector and a recovery in tourism as well as increased mining exports
