Kuwaiti businessman abducted

(MENAFN- Arab Times) Al-Baqa'a Criminal Court chaired by Judge Jan Buseibis has started hearing in the case filed against the three Egyptians charged for kidnapping Kuwaiti businessman Essam Al-Houti in August 2013. The hostage was rescued with concerted efforts and communications by Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and a senior official of the Amal Movement Bassam Tales. The kidnappers removed the blood-soaked cloth of Al-Houti before dumping him in their custody after he tried to resist kidnapping. One of them had purportedly abandoned his turban in the location. Following his release, Al-Houti declared that nemesis will catch up with the criminals for maltreating him while in captivity. He said the kidnappers accused him of joining the freedom fighters in Syria
