S. Korea's economy grows 3 percent in 2013


(MENAFN) The South Korean economy saw a significant growth in 2013, exceeding exports' expectations, as as exports remained robust and consumer spending gained, according to Qatar News Agency



The country's economy grew by 3 percent during the twelve-month period.



Korea's gross domestic product (GDP) was compared with a previous estimate of a 2.8 percent year-on-year gain



South Korea's (Yonhap) News Agency reported a 2.3 percent growth in the country's economy in 2012
