Euro zone economy grows 0.3 percent in Q4


(MENAFN) Economy in the euro zone region saw a significant growth in the fourth quarter of 2013, and is expected to register its highest in three years, according to Arab News



Quarterly economic growth is expected to rise to 0.5 percent, which equates to an annualized increase of a little more than 2 percent



The euro zone economy grew by a quarterly 0.3 percent in the fourth quarter of 2013



Chris Williamson, chief economist at the financial information company Markit, said: "The rest of the region also enjoyed its best quarter for three years, providing further evidence that the "periphery" is staging a robust-looking recovery.
