(MENAFNEditorial) RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) employees donated 39 boxes full of children's toys as part of the company's ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
The stuffed animals, puzzles, games, toy cars and bicycles were collected at the recently held annual Employee Forum and will find a new home with families in Qatar.
RasGas believes that donation drives such as this one helps build bridges with the community in which it operates. The "Bring a Smile to a Child" campaign celebrated RasGas' generous spirit and love for spreading joy to underprivileged youth
As part of the annual event, employees have made a tradition of coming together to donate items to the local community. In previous years, for example, the employee forums' "Bring a book" campaign have resulted in the donation of over 2,300 books to local schools
RasGas' CSR programme is aligned with the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Qatar National Development Strategy 2011-16, aiming to proactively meet the growing needs of the local community.
