The trade surplus in the year hit USD126.7 billion, increasing from USD118.6 billion the year before it, a Eurostat statement said
The statistical office said that the US remained to be the EU's largest trade partner for goods and services last year
Exports to the US significantly decreased in 2009, but have rebounded since to hit an export value peak of USD404.2 billion in 2012
