Zebari, Brahimi Review Developments of Syria Crisis


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari discussed Monday the latest developments of the Syrian crisis with the U.N.-Arab League joint envoy on Syria Lakhdar Brahimi. The two sides met on the sidelines of the 25th Arab summit in Kuwait and reviewed efforts with Syrian and international sides to continue negotiations that started in Geneva II conference, an Iraqi foreign ministry statement said. They also touched on the regional situation and international developments and their repercussions on Syria. Brahimi is set to participate in the 25th Arab summit, which kicks off Tuesday, as representative of the United Nations secretary general. Iraq is represented in the summit by Vice President Khodir al-Khozaai who arrived today in Kuwai
