Kuwait - Medical equipment donated


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) presented a number of medical equipments to the Red Crescent Hospital in Jordan. The Kuwaiti delegation led by Khaled Al-Zaid handed over 3 incubators for premature children, 30 wheelchairs for patients and several other medical items, in the presence of the Board Chairman of Jordanian Red Crescent Society Dr Mohammad Al-Hadid and officials from a number of humanitarian organizations. Dr Al-Hadid said the items were presented by the Kuwaiti delegation based on the cooperation agreement between both parties, especially with the rising number of Syrian patients at the hospital who sustained injuries in the ongoing civil war. He stressed that the initiative and donation highlights the sense of responsibility and generosity of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, which strongly believes in the need for providing succor to the Syrian refugees in Jordan
