Infiniti views China as most important market


(MENAFN) Japanese automaker Nissan said that China is viewed as the most important market for its luxury brand Infiniti, Xinhua reported



The managing director of Infiniti China said that Infiniti sold 17,000 cars in China last year, up 54 percent from the year before it



Infiniti's share of China's luxury car market is at 1 percent, but the managing director said that sales are expected to hit more 100,000 in five years



He said: "Although Infiniti is a brand that grew up in the United States, we have positioned China as our most important market.
