Croatia jobless rate at 22.7 percent in Feb


(MENAFN) The jobless rate in Croatia hit 22.7 percent last month, registering the worst rate in 12 years, Xinhua reported



New data by the National Statistics Bureau show an increase of 0.3 percent from the unemployment rate in January



There were 384,376 unemployed people in February, the Croatian Employment Agency. Total workforce in the country is at 1.7 million out of a total population of 4.3 million



The unemployment rate in the country stayed at an average of 18.22 percent from 1996 until 2014, hitting its highest in 12 years last month, and registering one of the worst in the European Union
