The two-and-a-half year old boy was admitted at HGH on March 19 and remained there until March 21. He was discharged with instructions to continue medication at home, the daily said, quoting his parents.
The parents had earlier claimed that the boy was not immediately isolated at the hospital but was kept with three other children in a room for several hours.
Patients infected with H1N1 can stay at home and continue medication as the influenza is similar to any other flu, according to the World Health Organisation. However, parents should keep the infected children isolated from others at home, the daily said, quoting a hospital source
