(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) McDonald's Oman (Al Daud Restaurants LLC) announced that the registration for FIFA World Cup 2014 Player Escort Programme has kicked off, giving a lucky child along with a parent from Oman the opportunity to travel to Brazil this summer for the World Cup 2014 as part of its Player Escort Programme.


Registrations forms are now available in all McDonald's restaurants.


McDonald's is the official partner and the official restaurant of the FIFA World Cup 2014. Under this exclusive sponsorship, the McDonald's Player Escort Program will offer 21 children from the GCC a once in a lifetime opportunity to walk onto the pitch in Brazil with some of the very best footballers in the world in a tournament set to be watched by an audience of billions around the globe.


McDonald's will be supplying the travel, accommodation, match tickets and meals for all recipients and parents during their trip.


''The Player Escort Program is just one of many initiatives to promote an active lifestyle amongst our communities and it's something that we're wholeheartedly committed to as a responsible locally-owned and operated business'', said Ali K Daud, development licensee and president of McDonald's Oman. We invite the parents to encourage their children to take part in the PEP program''.


The PEP competition will be held on March 29 at McDonald's Qurm.
