The two organizations have worked closely together to renovate an existing amenity to create a new football pitch and local sports facility. The new resource, which took four months to bring up to standard, has been warmly welcomed by the local Al-Sweimeh community, particularly the nearby local boys school

The project was made possible with a grant from Hilton Worldwide's CSR strategy initiative, 'Travel With Purpose', which recognizes and supports activities in those local communities in which the company operates. A special inauguration ceremony was held to mark the official opening of the football pitch with Hilton KHBTCC team presenting Ismael Al-Amerin, Principal of Al-Sweimeh Boys School, a certificate symbolizing their ongoing commitment to the community. The official opening also included a friendly football game between Hilton KHBTCC team members and a team representing INJAZ.

Kamel Ajami, Hilton Worldwide country manager “ Jordan, commented: "I am delighted we were able to lend a helping hand with this long-awaited community facility. Today's celebration paints a perfect picture of our team's commitment towards the local community and I am very pleased we are now reaping the fruits of our on-going collaboration with INJAZ.

Muhannad Jarrah, executive director, for the Skills Building Program at INJAZ said: "This project took our partnership with Hilton KHBTCC to a new level and our respective team members have now created a real connection with the local community.
