SCH Announces Application of Health Services PerformanceAgreements System


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The Supreme Council of Health (SCH) has announced the application of the " health services performance agreements system " on the providers of these services in both public and private sectors, starting next April in order to monitor and improve the overall performance of the health system . According to this system hospitals and health care centers will present periodic reports and minutes to the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) about a specific set of key and comprehensive performance indicators through which the performance of these health facilities will be monitored. Dr. Faleh Mohammed Hussein, Assistant Secretary-General for Policy at the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) said in the inauguration ceremony of the system that the performance of health services is a key step towards the achievement of the sixth output of the project 2.1 of the national strategy for health from 2011 to 2016 on improving the quality of health care . He added that this system is an important element to achieve the second objective of the strategy of the national health and goal of developing an integrated system of health care
