Austria jobless rate up 0.6 percent in 2013


(MENAFN) The unemployment rate in Austria went up 0.6 percent last year, Xinhua reported



Statistics Austria revealed that the number of jobless people increased by 26,100 to a total of 215,200 people, while the number of the employed decreased by 8,600 to 4.2 million



The number of full-time jobs decreased by 45,000, but part-time jobs increased 36,400



Data also reveal that the number of job openings dropped to 65,000, coming at 5,000 fewer than 2012
