(MENAFN - Arab Times) Mohsin Al-Fadhli is reportedly the most dangerous first Kuwaiti allegedly wanted by law at international level considering he is one of the al- Qaeda leaders, say reliable sources. His name surfaced on the 'most wanted' list in 2000 following armed groups confrontations with the Kuwaiti security forces in areas such as Hawally and Umm Al- Haiman. He was sentenced in absentia several times until he just vanished. Al-Fadhli also appears on the list of 36 people wanted by the Saudi authorities. His name surfaced on June 28, 2005

He is also wanted by the United States and his name surfaced on the list of criminal during the tenure of George W. Bush for his alleged involvement in the bombing of the USS Cole. According to reports, the name Mohsin Al-Fadhli linking him to terrorism appeared for the first time in 2000 when he was arrested by the Kuwaiti security authorities for alleged involvement to blow up the World Trade Conference in Qatar

He was later acquitted but his friends Mohammad Al- Dosari was put behind bars for 7 years, and Badi Al-Ajmi for two years. He has also been accused of supporting overseas terrorist organizations and the State Security had filed a case against him under case No. 5/2004, but the Kuwaiti judiciary acquitted him citing lack of evidences

Al-Fadhli is said to be a Sunni from a Shiite family according to Islamic activist Abu Musa'ab who was arrested by the Kuwaiti security authorities on Nov 18, 2008 while he was on his way to Damascus during which he confessed that he was the one who forged the travel documents of Al-Fadhli to help him leave Kuwait in October 2008 via sea to Iran and then to Afghanistan to join the al- Qaeda and Taleban groups. According to a website 'rewards for justice', Al-Fadhli carried a bounty of 7 million for any information leading to his arrest

He topped the list of terrorists wanted by Interpol after the al-Qaeda leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri and four other leaders of the group. Al-Fadhli was born on April 24, 1981 in Kuwait. He is of wheat complexion, sporting black hair and eyes. He stands 65 inches tall and the number of his Kuwaiti passport is 001313585, and probably the Civil ID No is 106261543. Among his pseudonyms are Mohsin Fadel Eid Al-Fadhili, Mohsin Fadel Eid Ashoor Al-Fadhili, Abu Majed Samiya, Abu Samiya and Daoud Al-Assadi

Meanwhile, it was reported that on Feb 15, 2005, Al-Fadhli provided financial assistance to the Al-Zarqawi and al- Qaeda networks and on Feb 17 the same year, the al-Qaeda Sanctions Committee affiliated to the UN mentioned the name of Al-Fadhli as one of those financing, planning and facilitating and committing crimes on behalf of the group which led to freezing his assets worldwide, and slapped a travel ban on him
