If you are in the market for a high-end bespoke luxury holiday villa in goa there’s no better time than now to book one. with celebrity designers like sussanne roshan gauri khan and martin waller of andrew martin (uk) fame on board leading indian real estate developer emgee group is leaving no stone unturned to ensure their dream project naira will redefine luxury for those used to an a-list lifestyle.

“naira is very close to my heart” said sussanne who along with gauri spoke to khaleej times on thursday evening ahead of the official launch of the project in dubai on saturday.

“this is the first time we (charcoal project the décor store she set up in mumbai india) are doing something in the spheres of architecture interiors and landscape.”

With open courtyards tree houses for kids overlooking the forest on one side a 12-seater home theatre and unique features sussanne promises each sea-facing villa with a propelled area of 6500 sq ft will be one of a kind.

As for gauri khan who recently opened her own store the design cell in mumbai it was the location that drew her to the project besides her long friendship with sussanne. “i love goa. for me when i take on a project the place and the people should be inspiring” said gauri who will be curating the interiors of the villas.

Sussanne who promises whoever buys one of the properties will feel like the king of goa admits she’s already booked one for herself.

“dubai is a very cosmopolitan market. there are a lot of nri global citizens settled here who are looking for ways to connect to india and naira is the way to connect” added nazia sharma vp emgee group who had accompanied the duo.

“the fall in the indian rupee vis a vis the dollar has boosted a lot of nris to invest in india today which encourages developers like us to invest in such luxury projects.”

The exclusive luxury project which is due to get off the ground in april is expected to be completed by may 2016. while reports have it that each villa will set you back by at least rs100 million (dh5.9 million) the developers are wary about giving out any official figures as of now since they say each unit will be custom-built and therefore come with its own unique price tag.
