General Motors recalls 1.5 m vehicles in one week


(MENAFN) General Motors announced this week three separate recalls affecting nearly 1.5 million vehicles, posing concerns in global auto industry, according to Oman Observer



That move followed the 1.6 million vehicles recalled last month because of faulty ignition switches which could potentially switch off an engine while a car is moving



Recalled vehicles in the United States in 2013 reached over 20.5 million, 5 million more than in the previous year
