(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Sudanese President Omar Al Bashir today received a message from South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit. The message was handed over by South Sudan Defence Minister Kuol Mayang who said in a statement after meeting President Al Bashir that the message dealt with the development of bilateral relations, mutual agreements between the two countries, security and military developments in South Sudan state and border security arrangements. He described his visit to Sudan as fruitful and successful. Mayang also met with Sudanese Defence Minister Aabel Rahim Mohamed Hussein who said his talks with the South Sudanese official dealt with security issues and the acceleration of the implementation of the joint cooperation agreement and the securing of borders. Hussein meanwhile reiterated his country's keenness on the stability of the South and support of legality in the country as well as the support of the peace process through the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) which is sponsoring mediation between parties to the conflict in South Sudan
