(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has reiterated the continued support of the United Nations to Libya's political process. President of the General National Congress of Libya Nouri Abusahmain received last night a telephone call from the UN Secretary-General. The UN Chief spoke about the need to ensure the implementation of the roadmap for Libya's transition and the important leadership role the General National Congress can play in this regard. The Secretary-General and President Abusahmain discussed the need for Libya's authorities and the United Nations to work closely together, and emphasized the important work of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) and the Secretary-General's Special Representative to Libya, Tarek Mitri.
