President ofColumbia receives credentials of Oman's envoy


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Columbian President Juan Manuel Santos Calderon on Wednesday received the credentials of H E Lyutha bint Sultan al Mughiriyah, sultanate's non-resident Ambassador to Columbia.


H E Lyutha is sultanate's Permanent Representative to the United Nations. During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed greetings of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said to President Calderon and his wishes to the friendly people of Colombia further progress and prosperity.


The President of Columbia asked the ambassador to convey his greetings and wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people.


President Calderon wished H E Lyutha success in her assignments and the relations between the two countries continuous progress.


The meeting reviewed the relations between the two countries and means of enhancing and promoting them in the near future.
