Saudi- Italian envoy opens visa application office in EP

(MENAFN-Arab News) the italian embassy in the kingdom of saudi arabia and its commercial partners al-etimad and vfs global have extended their visa application services for italy to alkhobar with the opening of the italy visa application center, the second such facility in the kingdom after riyadh.

This facility offers convenient and value added services to europe bound travelers applying for italian visas in the eastern province, in order to provide high level customer-oriented services to applicants for their visa application process

The visa application center is located on the 2nd floor, unified visa application center, king faisal st., opposite sabb bank, al-rakaa, alkhobar

Italy's ambassador to the kingdom, mario boffo, made his first official visit to the italy visa application center in alkhobar on march 18. francesco musi, deputy head of mission at the italian embassy, mohan v. mathew, etimad coo, harris moosa, turki h. ibrahim and jignesh dharampuria (vfs global) were present on the occasion. mario boffo went through the visa application process and services offered at the center, and also interacted with some of the applicants

Expressing his satisfaction with the world-class services offered to visa applicants, mario boffo said, ?thanks to our partnership with etimad &vfs global the italian embassy is able to provide a better visa service for saudi citizens and handle more visa applications according to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. this collaboration in the visa field will enhance and strengthen the relations between the kingdom and italy.

Mohan mathew said on the occasion, ?we are honored by the visit of the italian ambassador, mario boffo, to our visa application center in alkhobar. it has been our privilege to service visa applicants to italy from the western province for almost 3 years and from the central province for more than a year. we are looking forward to continue serving visa applicants from ksa in the coming years too.?

According to mario boffo, the italian embassy in riyadh processed almost 40,000 visas in 2013 but there is always an increasing number of requests which makes the partnership with etimad and vfs so important.

Applicants can now apply for their visas at the italy visa application centers and expect secure, quality and professional services at all times. ?in order to enhance the interaction between saudi arabia and italy we have increased the number of multi-entry and long term visas considerably (from 1 to 5 years),? mario boffo said.
