China may lose Iran's USD4.7 b contract


(MENAFN) China is predicted to lose USD4.7 billion-contract with Iran to develop the latter's giant South Pars gas field if China does not finish work due to deadline, according to Tehran Times



The announcement was revealed after Iran's oil minister has vowed to shake up the country's oil industry



State-owned China National Petroleum Corp. was awarded a USD4.7 billion project in South Pars in 2009
