(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Suhail Bahwan Automobiles (SBA), the distributor of Nissan Oman, recently organised a ‘Desert Cross' for their exclusive Nissan Xterra privilege and key Ministry customers.
Held in association with Guide Oman, this two-day initiative was a perfect platform to demonstrate Xterra's superior off-roading capability and performance in the rugged and challenging tracks of Wahiba sands. The aim was also to engage with customers and provide a platform for Xterra owners to get together and experience a fun filled and adventurous weekend. Flagged off from the Nissan showroom in Qurm, over 40 vehicles and around 100 enthusiastic Xterra owners along with their families and Nissan officials participated in the Desert Cross over two days.
A senior SBA official said, ''The Nissan Xterra has proved to be the perfect vehicle for such a desert crossing challenge because of its reliability and versatility in the desert regions. The Xterra's dual capability to deliver in challenging conditions and also city-drive was amply demonstrated through this initiative.''
The SBA Official added, ''The purpose of this trip was to show that driving off-road is both thrilling and achievable if you have the right vehicle. The Nissan Xterra is known for adventure and off road capability, and our endeavor is to encourage people to enjoy the outdoors, go on adventures and understand the great capability of Nissan 4X4 vehicles.''
