(MENAFN) Dubai has announced its plan of building eight new schools that are expected to be open by the end of this year, according to the Emirates 24/7.

Five of the schools will offer British curriculum, one will be Canadian, and two will be Indian, said the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).

The two Indian schools, Credence High School and Bilva Indian School, will offer up to 3.000 seats each.

A staffer at Credence said: "We have got approval for class up till grade 12, but for the first year, we have opened admissions from kindergarten to grade 6.'
