S. Korea's Daewoo receives USD367 m from Sovcomflot


(MENAFN) South Korea's Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co. said it has received USD367.4 million from Russia's state-run shipper Sovcomflot to build an icebreaking LNG carrier, according to Qatar News Agency



The South Korean company expects the vessel to be delivered by the end of June 2016



The carrier will be used in developing a gas field in the Yamal Peninsula, western part of Siberia, through a joint venture among Russian, French and Chinese firms
