(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Kuwaiti Shooting Team dominated the recently-concluded International Shooting Sports Championship at Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex as members of the team took the first positions in various categories in the tournament. In a press statement, the team revealed Abdallah Al-Rashidi emerged as the champion in the men category, followed by Saad Al-Hubeidha, and then Moroccan Mohammad Hamza bin Heyda who took the third position
In the youths category, the Kuwaiti team won all three medals, wherein Saad Al-Bugheili took the gold medal, Abdulaziz Al-Saad took the silver and Fares Al-Mutairi took the bronze. In the veterans category, Nililo Akaboto from Belgium got the gold medal, winning over his countrymen Erick Manshofeen who got the silver, while the bronze was taken by Kuwaiti Khalaf Al-Otaibi
In the women category, the Kuwaiti female team swept all first places with Afrah Mohammad taking the gold, Eman Shimaa' with the silver and Fatooh Mohammad with the bronze. For the overall results of the best players, Kuwaiti world champion Abdallah Al-Taraqi Al-Rashidi took the top position, followed by Saad Al-Hubeitha, Belgian Erick Manshofeen, Moroccan Mohammad Hamza bin Heyda, and in the fifth position, another Belgian Nililo Akaboto
