(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Syrian expatriate was arrested in Salmiya area in possession of four plastic bags containing marijuana and a small plastic bag containing hashish, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Hawally securitymen were at a security checkpoint on Arabian Gulf Road when they noticed an individual driving his vehicle above the speed limit. They stopped him and demanded for his Civil ID and drivers' license, which he failed to produce.
They searched his vehicle and found the illicit drugs. They arrested him and referred him with the drugs to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him
