Scandinavian airline reports USD17.5 m net loss


(MENAFN) Scandinavian airline SAS net losses in the first quarter reached over USD17.5 million on the back of lower growth and overcapacity in the Nordic region, according to Qatar News Agency



Net loss reported this year was lower than its year on year value of USD109.3 million.



Revenue was estimated at USD1.46 billion during the period from November 2013-January 2014, down from USD1.78 billion compared to the same period a year earlier



The airline is owned by the governments of Denmark, Norway and Sweden
