(MENAFN- Arab Times) Jahra Hospital has recorded five swine flu cases, members of a Kuwaiti family, as confirmed by the results of a series of laboratory tests conducted on them and all of them were discharged from the hospital immediately after being given prescriptions. Refuting rumors that workers and other patients at the hospital have been inflicted with the disease, Deputy Director of the hospital Dr Ghaleb Al-Mutairi disclosed the Casualty Department received the family last Tuesday after they went for laboratory testing in a private hospital.
Results of the tests proved they were infected with swine flu so they went to Jahra Hospital where another series of tests were conducted, confirming the previous laboratory test results. Since their condition was stable, they were not confined and the doctors prescribed the necessary medicines. Al-Mutairi reiterated there is no truth in the rumor that workers and other patients admitted to the hospital contacted the disease, explaining all treatments for the family did not go beyond the observation roo
