(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) The March to May schedule at the Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) includes shows by the Imperial Acrobats of China, opera star Ildar Abdrazakov, and jazz singer Diana Krall.


This was announced at a press conference on Thursday at ROHM.


The season will begin with Vincenzo Bellini's Capulets and Montagues, presented by the world-renowned opera company Arena di Verona.


It is for the first time that this opera will be performed at ROHM.


The Imperial Acrobats of China will present a show of athletic power and strong theatrical effects with Chi of Shaolin: Tale of the Dragon on March 28 and 29.


In April, the three sisters of TriOrient “ Fadia Tomb el Hage, Ronza and Amal Tomb “ will present a show that connects medieval music, jazz and folk songs, performing with their own backing instrumentalists.


Seeking to pay a tribute to the famed Rahbani Brothers “ Assi and Mansour “ acclaimed composers Ghady and Oussama Rahbani will present a concert on April 10 and 12 which will feature some of Lebanon's greatest voices “ Ghassan Saliba, Ronza, Fadia Tomb el Hage, Hiba Tawaji, Simon Obeid, Nader Khoury and Elie Khayat.


On April 17, 18 and 19, dance company Bavarian State Ballet will present Romeo and Juliet, which will be choreographed by John Cranko to Sergei Prokofiev's music performed by the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Robertas Servenikas.


Grammy winner Ildar Abdrazakov will be accompanied by the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra in a concert on April 24 under the direction of conductor Marco Boemi.
