More rains likely in Oman Met office

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Met office said on Saturday that there was the possibility of rainfall and thunderstorms across the sultanate's north, created by a low pressure affecting the country.

On Saturday, heavy to light rain fell in North Batinah, Buraimi and Dhahirah, leading to flooding of wadis. It is expected that the rains will gradually extend to Muscat, South Batinah, Dakhliyah and North and South Sharqiyah, the Directorate General of Meteorology and Air Navigation said.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education said in a statement that schools would function as per schedule and any impact of the expected rains will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
