Hearing In Kuwaiti Woman's Murder Case Adjourned


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Criminal Court postponed until April 3 the deliberations on the case of those accused of murdering a Kuwaiti woman, in her 30s, in the parking area at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital. Case files indicate the Public Prosecution charged one of suspects with first degree murder. He is believed to have fled the country and entered the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through Nuweiseeb Border, using the identity of his brother. The brother of the fugitive has been arrested and charged with 'harboring a fugitive and helping him to escape', in addition to two other suspects and the son of one of the suspects. Security agencies have coordinated with the Interpol and Saudi authorities for the fugitive to be extradited to Kuwait to face justice



Earlier, detectives from Hawally Security Command identified the citizen, who murdered a 32-year-old compatriot woman at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital's parking area. He fired at her while she was inside her car. On the fateful day, the Operations Room at the Interior Ministry received reports about a woman found soaked in blood at the parking area in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital. The police and the paramedics rushed to the scene but the woman was pronounced dead after being admitted to the hospital. Initial reports showed she succumbed to injuries caused by two gun shots. Sources said the testimonies made by witnesses revealed the perpetrator wanted to talk to the victim, but he ended up smashing the window of her car before killing her
