S. Africa, China trade surge 32 percent in 2013


(MENAFN) The South African Trade Minister said that bilateral trade between his country and China soared last year, Xinhua reported



The minister said that two-way trade between the two countries surged 32 percent last year when compared to the year before it



Bilateral trade between South Africa and China hit USD25 billion in 2013, increasing from USD19.2 billion in the year before it



Also, Chinese investments in South Africa continued to grow. Total FDI in the period between January 2003 and January 2013 hit 38 projects at a total capital of USD1.24 billion
