(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The State of Qatar has reiterated its due keenness to support Arab efforts aiming at improving and promoting health situations and medical research and services rendered to citizens .Qatar also stressed that it spares no effort to support the Syrian refugees and working to meet their needs and alleviating their suffering.
This came in exclusive interview HE Abdullah bin Khalid Al Qahtani, Minister of Public Health with Qatar News Agency (QNA) correspondent in the Egyptian capital on Wednesday at the end of the meeting of the Executive Office of Arab Health Ministers' Counci
HE Abdullah bin Khalid Al Qahtani, also said :, "The State of Qatar has proposed before the meeting necessity for improving the situation of Syrian refugees not in Syria alone or neighbouring states but in all Arab countries, asking for providing the immediate financial support to strengthen and improve the health situation of these refugee
" HE the minister went on to say; "The funds in this regard are still weak and insufficient and therefore the officials in charge in the countries and organizations should play their role and provide the necessary support." He explained that the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Health Ministers' Council has also discussed the humanitarian and health situation of the Palestinians in the occupied arab territories calling meatnime for providing the necessary support to improve their condition
He noted that the meeting prepared draft resolutions which will be submitted to the 41st session of Arab Ministers of Health Council
These draft resolutions focuss on the need to enhance Pan-Arab integration in the health fiel
He further said during the meeting, the arab health miniters also discussed preparations for Arab Economic summit scheduled to be held in Tunis in 201
